How to use
Section titled “How to use”- Paste an ASCII DXF into the input box (closed contours work best) — or choose/drop a .dxf file, or load the sample.
- Set the tool radius and compensation side, total depth and step-down, feed, plunge and spindle speed.
- Click “Generate G-code”: the summary shows passes × contours, an estimated machining time and pierce count (same basis as G-code Stats — feed and path length, no acceleration modeling), plus the toolpath preview.
Key details and limits
Section titled “Key details and limits”- 2.5D profile/contour toolpaths only — no pocket clearing or 3D surfaces.
- ASCII DXF only; arcs are approximated as polylines.
- Outputs generic G-code (G21 mm / G90) with no controller-specific post-processors.
Common use cases
Section titled “Common use cases”- Paste a DXF contour → set step-down, tool radius and compensation → generate and download the G-code.
