GeoJSON to CSV Converter
Export GeoJSON feature attributes to a CSV table with centroid lon/lat columns — pick lon,lat or lat,lon order, property columns are unioned across features, and the summary line reports the row count and any rows without a centroid.
Processing and data safety
Section titled “Processing and data safety”This tool runs entirely in your browser — your files are never uploaded to a server.
Input and output
Section titled “Input and output”- Formats: GeoJSON, CSV
- Flow: GeoJSON → CSV with centroid lon/lat columns
How to use
Section titled “How to use”- Paste your GeoJSON into the input box (a sample is pre-filled), or click “or load a file” to pick/drop a .geojson/.json file.
- Choose the coordinate column order (lon, lat or lat, lon) and click “Export CSV” (or press Ctrl/Cmd+Enter).
- Copy the CSV text or download features.csv — the summary line reports the exported row count and how many rows have no centroid.
Key details and limits
Section titled “Key details and limits”- Coordinates are per-feature centroids (fixed 6 decimals, ~0.1 m precision); the centroid columns are named centroid_lon / centroid_lat.
- Existing lon/lat attribute columns are preserved as-is (no longer clobbered by centroid values).
- Nested objects/arrays are not supported: cells show “[object Object]” or comma-joined text — flatten attributes first.
Common use cases
Section titled “Common use cases”- Paste GeoJSON → pick coordinate order → get a CSV attribute table (centroid lon/lat + property columns)
