Filter Point Cloud by Classification
Filter LAS/LAZ by ASPRS classification and intensity, then export the matched subset — server-side laspy for clouds too large for a browser tab. Sign in, upload, set the filters, download the result. Pro cloud quota; LAZ supported natively.
Processing and data safety
Section titled “Processing and data safety”Requires sign-in and uses cloud quota. Job inputs, results and download links are kept for 24 hours after completion and then automatically deleted — only you can access them meanwhile, and you can delete them from your account at any time.
Input and output
Section titled “Input and output”- Formats: LAS, LAZ
- Flow: LAS / LAZ → matched-point subset
How to use
Section titled “How to use”- Sign in and upload the LAS or LAZ point cloud.
- Set the ASPRS class codes (e.g. 2,6) and/or the intensity range, and pick the output format (LAS or LAZ). Leave class codes empty and keep the default intensity range (0–65535) for a plain full-fidelity transcode.
- Wait for the job and download the result — the result line reports before/after point counts, elapsed time and the kept ratio.
Key details and limits
Section titled “Key details and limits”- Requires an account and cloud quota.
- Class codes are comma-separated (e.g. 2,6); leave empty to skip class filtering.
- Zero matched points, invalid class codes and inverted intensity ranges return an actionable bilingual error (stable LAS_FILTER_* codes) — no silent empty output.
Common use cases
Section titled “Common use cases”- Upload a .laz → classes 2,6, intensity 0–3000 → download the filtered LAZ
