COPC Point Cloud Viewer
Stream COPC point clouds in the browser with LOD, EDL, class filters, a clip box, profiles and volume estimates — free, no sign-in, nothing uploaded.
Processing and data safety
Section titled “Processing and data safety”This tool runs entirely in your browser — your files are never uploaded to a server.
Input and output
Section titled “Input and output”- Formats: COPC, LAZ
- Flow: COPC (.copc.laz) → in-browser 3D view
How to use
Section titled “How to use”- Drop a .copc.laz file (COPC 1.0) — the hierarchy loads coarse→fine up to the selected point budget (large loads show progress and can be cancelled — cancelling keeps your current view), and a COPC structure check runs automatically.
- Pick a color mode (elevation/intensity/classification/RGB), a color preset and point size in the collapsible “Display settings” panel (editable before load too); optionally switch on EDL depth enhancement and adjust its strength.
- In classification mode, toggle classes in the legend (names + standard colors — the legend appears only while coloring by classification); narrow the intensity range or set a clip box (X/Y/Z min·max) to focus the display…
Key details and limits
Section titled “Key details and limits”- COPC 1.0 (.copc.laz) only — plain LAS/LAZ cannot be read here (use the LAS/LAZ viewers).
- Loading streams up to the selected point budget (250k–2M), so huge clouds display an approximation of the full set; changing the budget reloads the current file automatically (no re-drop needed).
- The clip box and class/intensity filters affect the display only — they never modify or export data.
Common use cases
Section titled “Common use cases”- Drop in a .copc.laz → loads by level up to the point cap → elevation coloring + EDL, orbit to inspect
- Uncheck vegetation classes in the legend → ground and buildings only
