GeoTIFF Viewer
View GeoTIFF (.tif/.tiff) in your browser, free with no sign-in: drop the file, tune the min/max or percentile stretch with gamma and per-channel histograms, zoom and pan, read cursor coordinates with the EPSG code, overlay a basemap…
Processing and data safety
Section titled “Processing and data safety”This tool runs entirely in your browser — your files are never uploaded to a server.
Input and output
Section titled “Input and output”- Formats: GeoTIFF, PNG
- Flow: GeoTIFF → in-browser map view (PNG export)
How to use
Section titled “How to use”- Open a GeoTIFF.
- If the image looks dark or washed out, switch the stretch to 2% percentile clip (drops NoData sentinels like -9999) and raise gamma — the histograms show the stretch range live.
- For multi-band files, adjust the R/G/B band mapping; pick the stretch mode (Min/Max auto or 2% percentile clip) and gamma, with per-channel histograms and stretch ranges shown live.
Key details and limits
Section titled “Key details and limits”- Large rasters are memory-bound (preview long edge normalized to 2048; when downscaled, a banner shows the original → preview size).
- Stretch options are per-band Min/Max (default) and a 2% percentile clip, plus gamma; advanced band math is out of scope.
- The basemap overlay supports EPSG:4326 and the EPSG:3857 family only and assumes north-up imagery; other CRS are disclosed as unsupported (no pixel-level reprojection). CARTO basemap tiles require network access.
Common use cases
Section titled “Common use cases”- Drop in a .tif → tune stretch/gamma with live histograms → zoom and inspect → overlay on the basemap → export PNG
