PDF to DXF Converter
Extract PDF vector paths to DXF for CAD: vector pages convert directly in millimetres, scanned or image-only pages fall back to traceable polylines (DPI and fit tolerance adjustable).
Processing and data safety
Section titled “Processing and data safety”This tool runs entirely in your browser — your files are never uploaded to a server.
Input and output
Section titled “Input and output”- Formats: PDF, DXF
- Flow: PDF → DXF (vector paths in mm; scanned pages traced)
How to use
Section titled “How to use”- Open a PDF — the vector path count and a first-page preview appear (parsed locally, nothing uploaded).
- Pick a mode if needed — Auto extracts vector paths and falls back to scan tracing; DPI and fit tolerance apply to scan tracing only.
- Check the preview and path count, then click “Convert & download” to export the DXF. A vector page with no paths offers a one-click switch to scan tracing.
Key details and limits
Section titled “Key details and limits”- Vector pages are extracted directly; scanned or image-only pages fall back to rasterize + trace (polyline approximation, adjustable DPI and fit tolerance).
- Tracing is a polyline approximation, not exact curves.
- All pages are exported and stacked vertically in one DXF — no page picker yet.
