SVG Path Boolean
Unite, subtract, intersect, exclude or divide two SVG paths — one clean result path, runs in your browser, no upload.
Processing and data safety
Section titled “Processing and data safety”This tool runs entirely in your browser — your files are never uploaded to a server.
Input and output
Section titled “Input and output”- Formats: SVG
- Flow: Two SVG paths → boolean result path (SVG)
How to use
Section titled “How to use”- Paste a single SVG that contains at least two paths/shapes (a sample is preloaded). The input preview shows how many booleanable shapes were found and how many <text>/<image> elements are ignored.
- Choose the boolean operation and assign A/B: arm “Pick A/B”, then click a shape on the canvas (A highlights blue, B amber); the A/B number inputs and the on-canvas index labels are the document-order fallback.
- Click Run — preview the result, then copy or download it as an SVG file. Empty results (e.g. non-overlapping intersect) are reported with a reason instead of silently producing an empty path.
Key details and limits
Section titled “Key details and limits”- Works on path geometry, not raster images.
- <text>/<image> elements are ignored (counted and disclosed) — convert text to outlines/paths first.
- A/B are assigned by clicking shapes on the canvas (arm “Pick A/B” first; A highlights blue, B amber) or by document-order number inputs — canvas index labels are the fallback.
Common use cases
Section titled “Common use cases”- Paste an SVG with two circles → pick unite/intersect → download the result SVG
