IGES File Viewer
Open IGES/IGS files (5.1/5.3) in your browser — orbit, measure, section, explode and screenshot, no CAD needed. Free, no upload, no sign-up.
Processing and data safety
Section titled “Processing and data safety”This tool runs entirely in your browser (local WebAssembly) — your files are never uploaded to a server.
Input and output
Section titled “Input and output”- Formats: IGES, IGS
- Flow: IGES / IGS → in-browser view (measure, section, explode)
How to use
Section titled “How to use”- Drop an .iges/.igs file (or click Try a sample) — it parses and auto-fits automatically; large assemblies show a Cancel-parsing button that keeps the previously loaded model.
- Rotate, zoom and pan; switch tessellation precision if needed.
- Use the toolbar to measure distance/angle, annotate, section or take a screenshot.
Key details and limits
Section titled “Key details and limits”- Large models are limited by browser memory; parsing runs off-thread (WASM) without fine-grained progress and can be cancelled.
- View-only — IGES files cannot be exported or edited here.
- Parsed locally in your browser (OCCT WASM); files are not uploaded.
Common use cases
Section titled “Common use cases”- Drop in an IGES file → inspect the model interactively
