Supports LAS

Choose file

The built-in sample is a synthetic terrain (~12k points, generated in code — not survey data). Large files show progress while parsing and you can cancel anytime — cancelling keeps your current view. Hover any point to inspect its attributes (coordinates/intensity/class/RGB).

Color presets

Uncompressed LAS point clouds, rendered locally. LAZ must be decompressed first.

What is a LAS file?

LAS (ASPRS) is the standard format for LiDAR point clouds; LAZ is its compressed form. Each point carries XYZ, classification, intensity and sometimes RGB.

How to view a LAS file online

Drop your .las or .laz file below. The cloud renders in your browser — rotate, zoom and filter by classification. Files are decoded in local memory only.

How large a point cloud can it open?

Local decoding scales with your device memory; there is no upload cap.

Are point clouds uploaded?

No — decoding and rendering happen entirely in your browser.
