Batch Image Compressor & Converter
Compress, resize and convert a whole batch of images to WebP/AVIF/JPEG/PNG and download them as a ZIP — locally, no upload.
Processing and data safety
Section titled “Processing and data safety”This tool runs entirely in your browser — your files are never uploaded to a server.
Input and output
Section titled “Input and output”- Formats: JPEG, PNG, WebP, GIF, BMP, AVIF
- Flow: Multiple images → compressed / resized images in a ZIP
How to use
Section titled “How to use”- Drop multiple images.
- Choose the format, quality, maximum width, and the concurrency (default 2; 1 = serial).
- Process and download the ZIP of results — duplicate file names are auto-numbered (photo-1.jpg), never overwritten.
Key details and limits
Section titled “Key details and limits”- Re-encoding strips EXIF and other metadata — keep your originals if you need them.
- AVIF/WebP encoding depends on browser support: probed with a real encode at load; if unsupported the output falls back to PNG and ZIP entries are named by the real format (never mislabeled .avif). AVIF encoding can be slower on older devices.
- Animated GIFs take their first frame only (static output). Undecodable files are listed as skipped and don’t block the rest of the batch.
Common use cases
