Pages render as thumbnails — reorder, rotate, delete visually

The output is a rebuilt PDF in workbench order: document metadata and bookmarks carry over (bookmarks are remapped to each page's new position; bookmarks of removed pages are dropped). Form fields are not kept. Processed locally in your browser; nothing is uploaded.

What is it? Organize PDF Pages deletes, rotates, reorders and duplicates PDF pages with drag-and-drop, with undo/redo, locally in the browser.

TL;DR: Reorder PDF pages visually — drag thumbnails to rearrange, rotate, delete or duplicate pages with undo/redo; free, nothing uploaded, no sign-in.

How to use

  1. Open or drop a PDF.
  2. Drag thumbnails to reorder; use the card buttons to rotate, delete or duplicate pages — undo/redo supported.
  3. Click Apply & Download to get the new file.

FAQ

Are changes destructive?

They apply to the output file; your original is untouched.

Is it local?

Yes.

Does it work on password-protected PDFs?

Not yet — encrypted PDFs are rejected with a clear error. Decrypt the file first, then organize it.

Are form fields and bookmarks kept?

Bookmarks are kept and remapped to their page's new position, but form fields are not preserved in the rebuilt output.

Is it free? Do I need an account?

It's free — the daily allowance covers page organizing with no sign-in, and because everything runs in your browser your PDF is never uploaded anywhere.

Can I rotate or delete just one page?

Yes — every page is its own card: the rotate button turns that page 90° independently, and delete removes only that page. All other pages keep their direction and position, and both actions can be undone.

Can it sort pages automatically — alphabetically or by date?

No — sorting is manual: you drag each thumbnail to the position you want (with undo/redo for every move). There is no auto-sort by text, date or bookmark order, so if you need that, a script or dedicated app is the better fit.

What's the difference between Organize PDF Pages and Merge PDF?

Organize PDF Pages works within one PDF — reorder, rotate, delete or duplicate its pages. Merge PDF joins several PDFs into one (its workbench can also remove or rotate pages, but its job is combining files). One file to restructure → this tool; many files to join → Merge PDF.

How large can the PDF be?

There's no page-count cap, and no file-size limit for local processing — but a few hundred pages means the thumbnails take a while to render, and pages that fail to render are listed (with a count) and left out of the output. Encrypted PDFs are rejected up front with a clear error — decrypt the file first.

Examples

  • Select or drop a PDF → drag thumbnails to rearrange → apply & download

Limitations

  • Keep at least one page.
  • The output is a rebuilt PDF: bookmarks are kept and remapped to each page's new position (bookmarks of removed pages are dropped); form fields are not kept; document metadata (title/author/subject/keywords/creator/producer) carries over.
  • Pages that fail to render are skipped from the workbench (with a counted notice) and are not part of the output.
  • Password-protected PDFs aren't supported yet — the tool reports an error instead.
  • Very large PDFs render thumbnails slowly.

Privacy
