FAQ
Are images, layout and animations kept?
No — slide text is extracted into a printable page; images, layout and animations are not reproduced. It is best for text-heavy decks you want to archive or search. Export from PowerPoint when the output must look identical.
Are speaker notes included?
No — only the text on each slide is extracted. Speaker notes are not read, so they will not appear in the PDF. If you need notes in the handout, export from PowerPoint with "notes pages" enabled.
Why are some slides empty in the PDF?
A slide with no extractable text (for example an image-only slide) comes out as an empty page. The result summary reports "text extracted from N of M slides" so you can see this before printing — check the in-page preview. For image-driven decks, export from PowerPoint instead.
Does it support legacy .ppt files?
No — only .pptx is supported. Legacy .ppt (PowerPoint 97-2003) must be re-saved as .pptx in PowerPoint first.
Is it free? Do I need an account?
