Paste plain text and get a typeset PDF — adjustable font size, A4/Letter paper and margins, CJK-ready. Free, no sign-up, no upload; runs in your browser.

Typeset plain text with adjustable font size, paper (A4/Letter) and margins, then print to PDF in the new window. Everything runs locally. Characters without a glyph in the built-in fonts (e.g. emoji) are counted and disclosed, not silently dropped; RTL text is laid out per-character left-to-right.

What is it? Text to PDF turns pasted plain text into a free PDF right in your browser, with adjustable font size, paper (A4/Letter) and margins, built-in CJK support (blank lines preserved, no punctuation at line starts) — no upload, no signup. Missing glyphs (e.g. emoji) and RTL characters are counted and disclosed, not silently dropped.

TL;DR: Paste text, get a PDF — free and no sign-up. Adjustable font size, A4/Letter and margins, CJK-ready, with a direct download or a printable page; all local.

How to use

  1. Paste your text (add an optional title — it becomes the download file name and the PDF's Title metadata); adjust font size (6–72pt), paper (A4/Letter) and margins if needed.
  2. Click "Generate & download PDF" for an instant file — or "Generate printable page" and print to PDF from the new window.
  3. Everything runs locally in your browser.

FAQ

How is the PDF produced?

Your text is typeset into a PDF right in your browser and downloaded locally (named after the title when one is set — which is also written to the PDF's Title metadata, so reader tabs show your title).

Who decides the pagination?

With "Generate & download PDF" the built-in typesetter paginates on your selected paper and margins; with "Generate printable page" your browser's print settings decide.

What about CJK typesetting quality?

The direct PDF keeps blank lines as real spacing and applies line-start rules — punctuation like 。 , never begins a line (it follows the previous line's last character).

What about emoji or Arabic text?

Characters without a glyph in the built-in fonts are counted and disclosed after generation (they appear as empty boxes); RTL characters are laid out per-character left-to-right (no bidi reordering or Arabic shaping) — also disclosed. Use the printable page for browser-grade text shaping.

Is my text uploaded?

No. Your input never leaves the device.

Is it free? Do I need an account?

Yes — conversions use a free daily allowance and need no sign-in, and the PDF has no watermark. Larger batch quota is the paid Pro tier.

Can I convert a .txt file?

There is no file upload — the tool takes pasted text, which keeps everything on your device. Open your .txt in any text editor, select all, and paste it here. The same copy-paste path works for text from anywhere (notes, editors, chat, terminal output).

Is there a word limit?

No fixed word count — the direct "Generate & download PDF" paginates automatically on the paper and margins you choose. Practical limits are your device's memory for very long documents; the printable-page path follows your browser's print settings.

Does it work on iPhone or Android?

Yes. The direct "Generate & download PDF" produces the file in the browser and needs no print dialog, so it works on mobile; the printable-page path needs your browser's "Save as PDF", which desktop browsers and Android Chrome support.

Examples

  • Paste plain text (optional title) → generate → print to PDF

Supported formats

纯文本粘贴 / Pasted textPDF

Limitations

  • Plain text only (no rich formatting).
  • Direct PDF paginates on the selected paper (A4/Letter), font size and margins; no headers/footers; the printable page follows your browser's print settings.
  • The download file name reuses the title when set (sanitized; falls back to document.pdf).
  • Characters without a glyph in the selected font (e.g. emoji) render as empty boxes in the direct PDF — counted and disclosed after generation; no font fallback substitution beyond Noto Sans SC.
  • RTL text is laid out per-character left-to-right (no bidi reordering or Arabic shaping) — counted and disclosed; use the printable page for browser-grade shaping.
  • Runs locally in your browser; nothing is uploaded.
